Kat the Dog - October 2022 Update
Kat the Dog was released in May 2022, and at age almost 13, Kat was still in perfect health, albeit it walking a bit more slowly by the end of the book, and we hoped to enjoy many more years with our beautiful girl.
We were absolutely devastated to lose her to a severe lung infection in October 2022. Our hearts were smashed to pieces and the pain was incredible. Our darling Kat had been with us for almost exactly eight years, and she was everything to us.
We will always love her and miss her, and now more than ever, we are so proud that her story and her life will live on through the pages of her book.
We have since adopted another rescued Spanish water dog. We have named her Zara and who knows what adventures she will have in the future. But we will always love and miss our dear sweet Kat.
RIP our darling, much loved and cherished Kat the Dog.
